Ok, so I was talking with a co-worker on the topic why the band ever broke up. According to what he said. The entire purpose of forming the band was to raise enough money to save a country - which he did not know which country. Therefore, once enough money was raised they had no purpose to continue making music together. I disagree. I read they broke due to difference's in the direction of the band would be taking. Also, I also was under the assumption. That the made music for awareness of injustices in our and other forms of government.

Sounds like something they would do. From what I was understood. Majority of the proceeds of the Battle of Los Angels tour went to local charities. Zach didn't like the direction the band was taking; "fame and fortune." So, he decided to part with the band and work on a solo project and help Zapatista Movement in Mexico. I may be entirely wrong.
